As the excitement of a new school year begins, we invite you to join us for a special Back to School Prayer Service at Word of Faith Church.
The beginning of a school year is filled with new opportunities, fresh challenges, and countless unknowns. Before the first bell rings, we believe the most important thing we can do is place this school year into God's hands.
Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, administrator, coach, school employee, or simply someone with a heart for the next generation, we invite you to gather with us as we seek God's wisdom, protection, favor, and blessing over every classroom, campus, and family in our community.
We Will Be Praying For
Students
That every student would grow in wisdom, confidence, and character. We will pray for God's protection, healthy friendships, academic success, emotional well-being, and a deeper relationship with Him throughout the school year.
Teachers & School Staff
We recognize the incredible impact educators have on the lives of students every day. We will pray for strength, wisdom, patience, creativity, protection, encouragement, and renewed purpose for every teacher, administrator, aide, counselor, custodian, bus driver, cafeteria worker, and support staff member.
Families
Parents and caregivers carry an important role in every child's education. Together we'll pray for peace in the home, unity within families, healthy routines, God's provision, and strength as they navigate another school year.
Our Schools & Community
We'll also pray for every school in our community—that classrooms would be places of learning, kindness, safety, and hope. We believe God desires to move in our schools and through those who serve in them.
What to Expect
Our Back to School Prayer Service will be part of our Sunday morning worship experience and will include:
- Inspiring worship
- An encouraging message from God's Word
- Corporate prayer for the upcoming school year
- A special time of prayer over students, teachers, school employees, and families
- An opportunity for our church family to stand together in faith for our community
